This is the first picture of former President Donald Trump on the anniversary of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

The 45th president grinned and flashed the thumbs up to a Post photographer who snapped the exclusive image moments after Trump’s motorcade drove past a roadside display by a few dozen diehard loyalists.

Trump turned toward the camera and struck an enthusiastic pose as his vehicle stopped at a red light about 100 yards away from the rally.

The ex-president was wearing a white golf shirt and a red hat bearing his campaign mantra “MAGA” — short for Make America Great Again.

Trump, who is teasing a potential 2024 rematch against President Biden, spent part of the day at the nearby Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, before making the drive-by appearance on his way home to his Mar-a-Lago resort.

The so-called “Freedom Rally” featured an array of pro-Trump and anti-Biden messages.

An enormous flag, photographed by Business Insider reporter Kimberly Leonard, said “Biden Is Not My President.” The banner leaned against a converted ambulance rechristened a “Rescue America Vehicle.”

DC Democrats, led by Biden, spent Thursday slamming Trump as a threat to democracy for allegedly inciting the deadly riot, which disrupted certification of Biden’s victory in the Electoral College.

“For the first time in our history, a president had not just lost an election, he tried to prevent the peaceful transfer of power as a violent mob breached the Capitol. But they failed,” Biden said in a Thursday morning speech at the Capitol.

“Patriots? Not in my view,” Biden went on. “You can’t love your country only when you win. You can’t obey the law only when it is convenient. You can’t be patriotic when you embrace and enable lies.”

But Republicans accused Democrats and the media of trying to exploit the riot for political gain.

”This is their Christmas,” Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis said Thursday. “They are going to take this and milk this for anything they can to be able to smear anyone who ever supported Donald Trump.”

Trump had planned to hold a Thursday afternoon news conference at Mar-a-Lago, but he pulled the plug Tuesday in a statement bashing the media and a Democrat-led House select committee that’s seeking his presidential records pertaining to the riot. Trump is suing to assert executive privilege over those records held by the National Archives.

In lieu of the presser, Trump issued a series of statements bashing his successor.

“To watch Biden speaking is very hurtful to many people. They’re the ones who tried to stop the peaceful transfer with a rigged election,” Trump said in his latest statement Thursday afternoon.

“America is a laughingstock stock [sic] of the world, and it’s all because of the real insurrection, which took place on November 3rd, but this is an election year and MAGA Republicans should get elected and work with me to fix this horror that Joe Biden and the Democrats have brought us,” he added. “Never forget the crime of the 2020 Presidential Election. Never give up!”
